Ashley Herb Farm is a rural business comprised of a herb plant nursery and farm shop. The goals of the site are to raise local consumer awareness about their products and inform regular customers on new and seasonal products. The site content is created and managed by Orchid to achieve these aims. The site is well optimized for local search.

Lever Design
Lever Design is a graphic design business which needs to showcase it’s work to potential clients. Orchid’s brief was to implement a website providing access to specific content within “two user clicks”. The site also makes use of Macromedia Flash to demonstrate the portfolio.
Downsview Ice Cream
Downsview Farmhouse is a rapidly growing business in Sussex manufacturing real dairy ice cream. The main objective of the site is to help locate potential resellers and stockists.
A second objective is to provide the general public with “where to buy” information. This was achieved using an interative Google Map page. The map is regularly updated from the client’s customer database.

Lodge Farm Centre
Lodge Farm Centre is a multi-enterprise business, the most important of which is a pet boarding service. Orchid was chosen to create a replacement website to market their services to the local catchment area. Optimization for local search is a prime requirement for this website.

Smiths Farm Shop
Smiths Farm Shop is one of the most successful farm shops in the East Midlands area and has over 2500 customers through it’s doors each week. This site is currently at an early stage of it’s life, but all pages have been indexed by Google. The site is optimised for local search using selected keywords and the Google Local Business service.

Burscough Bed & Breakfast
A fully diversified rural business, the Neale family needed a website to promote their bed & breakfast accomodation, caravan & camp site and local food shop. Building on its success so far in generating email and telephone enquiries, the site is scheduled to incorporate an online booking system for 2010.
